How to Use Your Anger to Make Your Life Better

Emotional energy is the fuel of your life. You can effect your emotional state positively with the proper knowledge and practice. In this age of enlightenment, emotional energy as personal fuel is a rising awareness for those that are learning how to empower themselves. Do want to empower yourself too?

Anger is an energy that has great force for action. Anger wants you to do something. When we feel that we can’t actually do something constructive, we often channel anger destructively. This can mean holding it in where it literally poisons our health, or we send it outwardly in ways that are harmful to others. Nobody benefits in these instances.

Anger will help you structure your life well, and joyously, when you learn to acknowledge and use your anger wisely. When you feel angry, here is a list of actions that you can take to use your anger for constructive outcomes.

1. Acknowledge the anger by becoming familiar with it’s energy – how does it feel in your body? What thoughts arise? What immediate action do you want to take? Don’t take any action other than an inventory at first.
2. Use a journal and vent about your thoughts and feelings in an unedited fashion.
3. Do something physical if it helps disperse the energy so that you can come to clearer thinking.
4. Pose this question – how does this anger want me to structure my life differently?
Consider ideas like – changing your routine, altering a relationship, using your voice to serve your truth, creating new ways to live or work, or identifying new patterns that you need to support your highest good.

Misused anger causes guilt and inner misery. You have the power to change any habit you have.

Anger represents a part of your innate emotional intelligence. Your being knows what it needs on a deep level. Once you practice these steps and learn more about your anger, how it moves in you and what it’s trying to get your attention for, directing your anger towards positive change translates to using your inner emotional fuel in beneficial ways.
